What I'm talking about here is my LOVE AFFAIR with novels.

YUP! Call me crazy but these little paperbacks and hardbounds are my dahlins!

Well actually, I have a few collection.
It's a mix of autobiographies of famous personalities
(Lauren Bacall, Lana Turner, Anne Frank, Aretha Franklin, Madonna --
to name a few) and non-fiction/fictitious novels.
Although, not the one's you see in the list of
must-read but I can survive with my own. HAHA!
Seriously, I want to buy a whole stack of new books to add to my already vanishing collection, it's just that I don't have that budget at the moment!

So after this post, I am going to read a book from one of the great twentieth century American fiction novelist and painter - HENRY MILLER!

And the book I am going to read is going to be a very fun read.

It's -- Under The Roofs Of Paris or originally published as Opus Pistorium.
It is one of Miller's very controversial book.

REASON WHY I BOUGHT THE BOOK:

Purchased this book and several others around late 2009.

I found this one to be very interesting because of the cover.

Love the artsy cover!

(Talk about, "Don't judge the book by it's cover." and Just LOVE it! LOL)
And with my fascination with Paris, I was hoping this will somehow give me more info and then some. And I also know a little about Henry Miller.
So that's why.

REVIEWS:

Read some bad and good reviews.

But mostly, saying that it's not worth the time to read.

One mentioned, it's an erotic and nonesense.

Others were saying it's a fun and enjoyable read.

Well then, we'll see about that!
